About Brightwalk
Situated on 98 acres along Statesville Avenue about two miles north of Uptown, Brightwalk is a mixed-income, single-family and multi-family infill redevelopment project.
Brightwalk is the product of a collaboration between Charlotte Mecklenburg Housing Partnership, Standard Pacific Homes, and the City of Charlotte. The community features a unique environmental art component made possible by a creative-placemaking grant by ArtPlace America, implemented by the McColl Center for Art + Innovation.
One of the top selling communities in the Charlotte area, Brightwalk has led to developer interest in surrounding areas and a new, positive image for this section of Charlotte. The success helped prompt a ULI Technical Assistance Panel study of the larger “North End” area this past spring, which made recommendations for further planning and redevelopment.
*This event is open to ULI Charlotte Young Leaders only.
The registration fee is $20 through July 25th; the fee increases to $30 beginning July 26th.
