Are there good submarkets in Charlotte (outside of uptown) for office investment/development?Answer from ModeratorS. Cht (Midtown, Park Rd, Southpark, Ballantyne) w/ great demand drivers, close to where ppl live. Airport great for suburban w/ large, chunky space & more cost effective. As infrastructure expands (I-485, light/commuter rail), offers more growth north & supports office at major nodes/intersections |

This debt doesn’t just erode the monthly income one could deploy toward housing, it keeps the newly employed grad from saving up for a down payment. |
