We are excited to announce that Thomas B. “Skeet” Harris, President of T.B. Harris Jr. & Associates, has joined us as our newest mentor for our 7th Partnership Forum. Previous mentors include Debra Campbell, Planning Director for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Department; Lat W. Purser, Chairman and CEO of Lat Purser and Associates, Inc.; Smoky Bissell, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Bissell Family of Companies; Todd Mansfield, Chief Executive Officer of Crosland; Arthur Fields, President and Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Resources; and Henry Faison, Chairman and Founder of Faison & Associates.
 
What is a Partnership Forum?
A Partnership Forum is a group of 10 ULI Young Leader members who meet on a quarterly basis with a mentor to discuss—confidentially—all aspects of the real estate industry and to exchange ideas in an exclusive environment. It is in the spirit of ULI’s Purpose: to make “better executives through education and idea exchange.”
 
Why join a Partnership Forum?
The opportunity to be in a Partnership Forum is one of the most coveted privileges of your ULI membership as a Young Leader. You will learn from your peers and moderators new concepts, cutting edge theories, and obtain professional growth that can be duplicated nowhere else.
 
Commitment
Although each Partnership Forum is responsible for creating and approving its own set of “Partnership Forum Norms,” the general expectations of the Partnership Forums are expected to have four (4) meetings over the period of one year. 100% attendance is expected.
 
Skeet Harris
Mr. Harris is Founder/President of T.B. Harris Jr. & Associates and has over 35 years of appraisal and consulting experience. T.B. Harris Jr. & Associates Inc. was formed in 1979 for the purpose of providing professional real property appraising and consulting services. Since 1973, Thomas B. Harris, Jr., MAI, CRE, FRICS has been involved in many facets of the real estate business, serving some of the nation’s largest financial institutions, as well as nationally known development companies, public and private corporations, and governments. Their mission is to provide reliable valuation and evaluation services to our clients on a timely basis. Skeet is a ULI Past President and has been a ULI member for 6 years. Mr. Harris currently serves on the faculty for the Appraisal Institute.
