Technical Assistance Panel Visits Waxhaw

Technical Assistance Panel Visits Waxhaw Led by Dave Malcolm, McAdams, ULI Charlotte volunteers spent a day-and-a-half in the Town of Waxhaw for a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP).  After meeting with stakeholders and town staff and a work session, the panelists provided their initial findings, to be delivered in a final report later this year.  A special thanks to our panelists that joined Dave on this program:  Jessica Rossi, Kimley-Horn; Zac Gordon, City of Kannapolis; Dennis Richter, Richter Development; Nicole Frambach, Ryan Homes; and Ashley Bonawitz, Stantec.

RECAP – Ride & Talk: Development along the LYNX Blue Line Extension

On June 7, 2018, ULI members participated in a program taking us along the new LYNX Blue Line Extension and learning about the plans and projects along the newly opened line.  Below are notes on what we heard during the tour: Sugar Creek Station – speakers included Tony Kuhn, Flywheel; Scott Fuller, Legacy Real Estate Advisors.
