Mobile Tour: Durham Innovation District
Date/Time: Monday, February 11, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Meet at the Raleigh Convention Center
Registration Fee: $75 Members/ $100 non-Members
Unveiled in October 2014, the $400+ million Durham Innovation District (Durham.ID) covers 15 acres just west of downtown. Durham.ID will eventually include 1 million square feet of office space plus retail and 300 residential units. The new innovation district will function as a “downtown research hub” with an emphasis on life science companies and provide space for Duke University researchers and companies seeking to collaborate with the University.
Mobile Tour: Dillon & Union Station
Date/Time: Monday, February 11, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Meet at the Raleigh Convention Center
Registration Fee: $45 Members / $60 non-Members
Raleigh’s downtown Warehouse District is growing by leaps and bounds, with renovations and new construction enticing residents and businesses. The neighborhood is also home to Raleigh’s new Union Station, featuring Amtrak service and, eventually, bus and commuter rail. Join ULI members on an in-depth tour of two Warehouse District marquee projects: Union Station and Kane Realty’s mixed-use project The Dillon.
Mobile Tour: Research Triangle Park Transformation
Date/Time: Monday, February 11, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Meet at the Raleigh Convention Center

The RTP is the largest research park in the country and one of the largest in the world. Home to more than 200 global companies, the RTP fosters a culture of innovation, education, and industry. RTP is located between Duke University, North Carolina State University and UNC Chapel Hill. Through five decades, the Park still holds to its founders’ aspirations: to generate economic activity, engage the talents of local graduates and citizens and curry North Carolina forward to ever-greater prominence and prosperity. Women’s Leadership Initiative Wine and Dine
Date/Time: Monday, February 11, 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Location: Garland 14. W Martin St.
Registration Fee: $125 Members/ $170 non-Members
Enjoy a chef-driven experience. The Garland offers a seasonally driven menu is influenced by the flavors of India and Asia, with locally sourced ingredients reinvented with a distinctly Southern flare. It’s extensive menu of approachable creations features innovative and delicately prepared dishes that are truly unique. Garland continues to wow the culinary scene in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina offering a casual dining experience in a comfortable yet funky space, with great food. Dinner includes a chef-inspired meal and wine or non-alcoholic beverages.
Women’s Leadership Initiative Beers and Burgers
Date/Time: Monday, February 11, 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Location: Raleigh Times Bar, 14 E. Hargett St.
Registration Fee: $60 Members/ $80 non-Members
Enjoy a casual dinner of burgers and beers. The Raleigh Times Bar is a timeless local watering hole and so much more. Raleigh’s past, present and future are all on display at this 100 year old building that has been beautifully restored to house this fine establishment. Old press clippings and images from our namesake newspaper adorn the walls and capture the rich cultural and political history that is unique to the Capital City. Dinner includes a burger bar with add-ons and house-made chips, draft beers or non-alcoholic beverages.

Young Leaders Group Meet Up
Date/Time: Monday, February 11, 2019, 9:00pm – 10:00pm
Location: Whiskey Kitchen, 201 W Martin St.
Meet YLG colleagues from across the Carolinas and reconnect with those you haven’t seen since the last ULI Carolinas’ meeting!
This meet-up will be hosted for any meeting attendee. Cash bar.
