Sometimes the hardest part is starting the conversation, but then you need to put it into action. How is the real estate industry ensuring varying views are included in their developments and firms.  We will discuss how we may empower our community to put diversity and inclusion initiative into action.

Speakers: Our speakers are consultants working in the public and private sectors of real estate to increase diversity and inclusion. In addition, we will discuss case studies of examples being implemented today.

  • Shawna Davie, GARE (a national network of government working to achieve racial equity and advance opportunities for all)
  • Carol Lilly, Lil Associates (working with construction to provide breakthrough solutions education and building quality relationships)
  • Debra Campbell, City of Charlotte, moderator

Hosted by the Women’s Leadership Initiative. Open to all.

Discussions and Case Studies provided by: City of Charlotte, Crescent Communities, JLL, Wells Fargo
