WLI Fall Symposium: Personal and Professional Resiliency
A Fireside Chat with Jane McIntyre
There are times when we need to bounce back from a personal or professional set-back. The ability to successfully adapt can propel you and your organization in a positive manner. Jane McIntyre, the recently retired executive director, joined the United Way of the Central Carolinas in 2008 during a tumultuous time. The organization was struggling, seeing a decline in donations, and was embroiled in a recession and a scandal over past executive compensation.
Join us in a fireside chat with Jane McIntyre and Sonja Gantt (WCNC News Anchor) to hear about how Jane fostered and strengthened the vision of the organization to move beyond the obstacles and reenergize the United Way’s mission and service within our community. She has been widely recognized for her success and has some great lessons learned along the way that demonstrate the importance of resilience. This event is open to women only.
