Charlotte Rose Fellowship City Visit Panel

As previously announced, Mayor Anthony Foxx is leading one of the teams in this year’s Daniel Rose Fellowship for Public Leaders. The City of Charlotte will host a team of national experts provided by the ULI Rose Center from January 11th – 14th. Together they will seek to identify the initial implementation steps to rejuvenate the Independence Boulevard Corrdior.
The City of Charlotte has created the Independence Boulevard Area Plan which seeks to provide stronger neighborhoods, access to Uptown and major highways, parks and greenways and a market that is positive for the Charlotte area.
On Friday, January 14th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, we invite you to the team’s presentation of initial findings and observations in the Council Chambers of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center located at 600 East Fourth Street.
