    Keri Cantrell

    Chief Engineer - Planning & Land Development, Charlotte Water

    Dr. Keri Cantrell serves as Chief Engineer for Planning & Land Development for Charlotte Water, the largest water-sewer utility in the Carolinas. She received her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in Chemical Engineering. She completed her master’s and PhD in Biosystems Engineering also from Clemson University. Her drinking water career began with NC Dept of Environmental Quality—Public Water Supply Section as a regulator. Keri initially joined Charlotte Water as a senior engineer over Water Distribution System Planning. As Chief Engineer, Keri oversees three engineering divisions and one program focused on system planning, affordability, and expansion.

    Carl Wilson

    Chief Engineer - Capital Projects and Operational Support, Charlotte Water

    Carl Wilson is Charlotte Water’s Chief Engineer over Capital Projects and Operations Support. He manages the engineering group responsible for delivering the lion share of projects that drive Charlotte Water’s aggressive and demanding Capital Improvement Plan. He has over 25 years of municipal experience. Carl has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the William States Lee School of Engineering at UNCC. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, riding his motorcycle, and cultivating his love-hate relationship with golf.
