How do real estate developers and investors who could pursue opportunities across cities regionally, nationally, or even internationally think about infrastructure? And how do city leaders use infrastructure investments to position their cities for real estate investment and economic development? Are public and private perceptions and priorities aligned, or do they diverge, and in what ways?
On May 16, Charlotte City Manager Ron Carlee, will offer insight into key infrastructure initiatives at work in the community to shape our future. Ron Carlee will join a panel, moderated by Charlotte Chamber President Bob Morgan, and including Crescent Communities CEO Todd Mansfield, Former NCDOT Chair and Hunton & Williams Attorney Frank Emory, and Childress Klein Retail Partner Chris Thomas, will highlight key areas of community infrastructure, how it impacts future development and how the public and private sectors can work together on roads, mass transit, and other key infrastructure projects.
