Members in our network groups, NEXT, Young Leaders Group (YGL), and Women Leadership Institute (WLI), are busy engaging! Check out what they have been up to below and more programs are being planned! Make sure to watch your email and the ULI Charlotte website for updates!

YLG members met last month to learn from a panel of expert brokers and developers on the ever evolving trends in the industrial sector and how it has changed and shaped the market in which we live and shop today. Next, YLG members will get an exclusive tour of Vantage South End on June 24 and there are a few spots still available to attend! Register Here. In addition, this year’s Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF) has kicked off! ELF participants met earlier in June for a kick off social and will meet a few more times this year for roundtable sessions where they will share best practices and leadership skills and converse about mistakes made and lessons learned. Applications for the next ELF will open early January 2022.

NEXT’s Peer-to-Peer (P2P) program has been underway with members meeting bi-monthly to have an open exchange where they can problem solve and learn from each other. P2P is focused on helping NEXT members grow in their careers as they step into leadership roles within the industry. The next application cycle will open in the Fall 2021.

WLI members celebrated their 2021 Champions in early May and partnered earlier this year with ULI Nashville on their WLI(brary) program which is a bi-annual book club devoted to professional development. By partnering with Nashville, Charlotte members have been able to grow and build relationships with WLI members in a peer city. WLI’s Mentorship Program is also underway with mentors and mentees meeting in small groups to connect and get to know female industry leaders. Mentorship program participants will be meeting up for a networking social later this month.
