Congratulations to the following ULI members on their recent achievements:

Mike Davis – CDOT

Mike Davis has accepted a new position as Deputy Director of CDOT.  Mike will join Liz Babson, Phil Reiger and Danny Pleasant as part of the department’s leadership team starting next week.

Mike’s new role will allow him to expand his influence throughout the department and the city. He will continue to focus on land development issues and right of way management. He also will become more involved in planning, design, capital investments, economic development, supporting the rewrite of the city’s land development ordinances, and of course, “other duties as assigned.”

Mike first started with CDOT in 2000 as a Traffic Engineer I. He served admirably since 2009 as CDOT’s Development Service Manager. Prior to that, he served as the CDOT Design Section Manager between 2006 and 2009. He has fostered positive working relationships within the city organization and with NCDOT, developers, consultants, and utilities doing business with the city.
