The City of Salisbury, North Carolina is requesting proposals from interested parties for the purchase and potential redevelopment of The Plaza building located at 100 West Innes Street in the downtown district. The City believes a mixed use building inclusive of a ground floor retail component and a residential component is the highest and best use of the Plaza, but Respondents may also consider incorporating additional uses, such as office. The Plaza is a historic seven-story building owned and managed by the City of Salisbury. The building is currently occupied with tenants including three ground floor retail spaces, six office suites on the second and third floors, and 20 residential units on floors 4-7. The City is seeking proposals for both the building, and a parking area located to the rear.
