Public-Private Partnerships are Now an Available Option for State and Local Governments

The BCI’s (Business Committee on Infrastructure) recommendation urged lawmakers to make public-private partnerships (PPPs) an option for state and local governments to meet current and future infrastructure demands. They also recommended the state create a Study Commission on PPPs. Well, the state listened and the Study Commission was passed July 10th as part of the Senate studies bill (SB 900). The study commission is expected to appoint members, convene and issue a report all before the next session. For more information, click here.
