The ULI Charlotte Program Committee’s goals are to keep programs planned for about six months in advance, with topics that are timely and interesting to our members. While we usually have a local or regional focus, we occasionally bring in experts from other markets to provide input from other markets. The committee has a diversity of people and perspectives to keep ideas fresh, but it is what makes our committee “cool”. We brainstorm, plan and enjoy a laugh or two every meeting.
Frank Warren, Program Committee Chair shared “It is critical that ULI is relevant. Staying on top of trends and best practices is what initially attracted me to ULI. The networking and education from attending local and national meetings is what keeps me involved.”
We see input and participation in our planning. Watch for calls for presentations and ideas, share lessons learned, and come to the meetings. Attending the programs and participating in the conversation keeps ULI unique and relevant to the members we serve.
