It has been years since the zoning code has been overhauled and since then, the City of Charlotte has grown in leaps and bounds, ordinances have been layered onto the code and it is still unclear.  Earlier this year, the City of Charlotte engaged a consultant to assist with collecting community feedback and creating a Unified Development Code.  So what does this mean?  How will it impact future development and the community?
