Applied Innovation Corridor - Urban Land Institute (ULI) –Advisory Panel Final Report

From April 28 – May 2, 2014, the City of Charlotte partnered with the Urban Land Institute to engage the community in a process aimed at refining the vision and developing key implementation strategies needed to catalyze the Applied Innovation Corridor concept, recommended in both the 2020 Center City Vision Plan (2011) and Community Investment Plan. In a concentrated one-week effort, a national panel of six to eight experts, chosen and facilitated by ULI, visited Charlotte, toured the study area, and interviewed staff from the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, community stakeholders, private developers, community development corporations, and many other organizations to develop initial observations and recommendations. The final report is attached below.
