    Brian Purcell

    Asana Partners

    Brian has overall responsibility for investments at the firm. He joined Asana Partners in 2015 and serves on the Executive Committee and Investment Committee. He has 15 years of commercial real estate and private equity experience in acquisitions, dispositions, development, joint ventures, portfolio management, asset management, and leasing. Before joining Asana Partners, Brian was a Director of Portfolio Management and Asset Management at USAA Real Estate Company where he oversaw a portfolio of office and mixed-use assets. Prior to this role, he worked in the office and retail sectors with Lincoln Harris and began his career at CBRE. Brian earned a Master of Business Administration degree with honors from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College.

    Bringing more than three decades of retail experience to our clients, Chris leads our retail development, marketing and leasing practice. In this role, he focuses on market analysis, site acquisition, negotiating major tenant and specialty tenant leases, property disposition, implementing marketing plans and third-party owner relationships. Chris has extensive experience in shopping center development, retail site selection, tenant representation, as well as structuring and negotiating transactions. Sought after for his leadership skills, Chris inspires his clients and team members to seek opportunities where we can positively impact people’s well-being, health and attitude towards their environment.     Paxton Hollar

    Senior Vice President, SunCap Property Group

    Paxton Hollar has over 25 years of experience in development, investment and brokerage of many product types within the commercial real estate industry. His primary responsibility with SunCap is furthering the success of SunCap’s industrial build-to-suit and speculative development across the Southeast. Paxton began his career with Lat Purser & Associates where he was responsible for the leasing of a large retail portfolio throughout North and South Carolina. After four years at LPA, he joined Lincoln Harris’ Corporate Services Group. While there, he oversaw the leasing and asset management of several key mixed-use developments in the Carolinas, managed Carolinas Healthcare System’s 200+ medical office building portfolio, and developed several successful retail, office, medical office and mixed-use projects. In 2004, Paxton joined two colleagues in the creation of the first regional office for Lauth Property Group. His primary responsibility was managing the Southeast development team and all facets of the company’s commercial developments including procurement, entitlement, tenant negotiations, construction and disposition. Following the Great Recession of 2008, Paxton joined SunCap, founded by his good friend, Flint McNaughton, and currently oversees SunCap’s industrial developments across the Southeast. He has generated numerous new clients for the organization through the execution of client-specific build-to-suit developments and has developed speculative projects in key markets across the Carolinas. Paxton grew up in Hickory, NC, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has called Charlotte home since 1997. For almost two decades, he has been involved with Myers Park Trinity Little League, serving as a board member and volunteer coach of multiple baseball teams.

    Megan Ledbetter

    Regional VP of Acquisition, Entitlement & Development, Taylor Morrison

    Megan Ledbetter is the Regional VP in the Carolinas of Taylor Morrison Home Corporation’s Build-To-Rent (“BTR”) Segment. Taylor Morrison is a leading national homebuilder and developer based in Scottsdale, Arizona with 19 geographic divisions across the country. Since 2019, Taylor Morrison has partnered with multi-family disrupter Christopher Todd Communities to bring a new type of single-family residential community called “horizontal apartments” or “hybrid housing” to markets where Taylor Morrison currently does business. This new and underserved segment has been wildly successful attracting residents who yearn for something better than traditional multi-story apartments but are either not ready for traditional home ownership or declare themselves “renters by choice”. Announced Taylor Morrison BTR markets include Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth, Tampa/Sarasota, Orlando and Charlotte with additional expansion markets planned for 2021 and beyond. Ms. Ledbetter has over 17 years of strategic land planning and development experience both on the public and private sector in the Carolinas where most recently she led site selection, entitlements and development for multiple multi-family and grocery anchored developers across the southeast. Her career span on both the public/private sector brings all facets of land development from site selection, due diligence, entitlements through construction phase and final certificate occupancy to the Build-to-Rent platform. Since joining Taylor Morrison in October 2020, Megan’s focus lies in acquisition and development of the Build-to-Rent platform throughout the Carolinas. Taylor Morrison prides itself in creating trustworthy relationships with both its internal and external customers. For six consecutive years, the company has been named America’s Most Trusted Home Builder by Lifestory Research, and a Top 100 Best Places to Work by Glassdoor. Megan holds a holds a BS in Geography with a concentration in Planning and Development from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and a MPPA from Northwestern University.

    Andrew Warren, Andy, currently serves as the PwC’s Director of Real Estate Research. As the Director of Real Estate Research and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, the regulatory environment and operational developments. For the past 10 years, Andy has led PwC’s participation in the development and production of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate publication. Andy is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy also forecasts market performance for PwC’s “Real Estate Investor Survey”.
