The record-setting 2019 ULI Spring Meeting took place in Nashville, a city growing by 100 new residents each day. Tours throughout the area focused on downtown and suburban development, the challenges posed by gentrification, and public-private partnerships that have reshaped the city. Sessions covered topics ranging from attainable housing and commercial real estate finance to broader trends shaping the real estate industry, including presentations by historian and author Jon Meacham; Constance Freedman, founder and managing partner of Moderne Ventures; and Kathleen Hayes of Bloomberg Media.
