      Ashley Saulpaugh

      Ram Realty Advisors

      Ashley Saulpaugh is based out of Ram’s Charlotte, NC office and is responsible for sourcing and underwriting new acquisition opportunities in the Carolinas as well as execution of commercial development.  Mr. Saulpaugh graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. degree in Finance in 2005.  Upon graduation, he began his career with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC where he spent two years working in various analytical roles with the company.  In 2008, he graduated from the Warrington College of Business at The University of Florida with a M.S. degree in Real Estate.  Since joining Ram in 2008, Mr. Saulpaugh has been involved in more than $650 million of acquisition activity.

      Todd Hall

      President & CEO, Truliant Federal Credit Union

      Todd Hall was named President/CEO of Truliant in January 2020. Mr. Hall joined the organization in 2012 as Chief Operating Officer with over 20 years of financial management experience. As President/CEO, Mr. Hall, in partnership with Truliant’s Board of Directors, is responsible for strategic leadership of the credit union with the purpose of improving members’ lives. Mr. Hall’s focus has been keenly member-centric, with initiatives committed to expanding convenience throughout all interactions with the credit union. Since 2012, Hall has helped Truliant grow to over 250,000 members, nearly $2.7 billion in assets, and 30+ Member Financial Centers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Mr. Hall holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from the executive program at Wake Forest University

      MEHUL Patel

      CEO, Equator Capital Management

      Mr. Patel has been an investment professional for the past 18 years. Prior to forming Equator Capital Management in 2009, Mr. Patel had led or been part of teams responsible for the entitlement and/or acquisition of over 3MM square feet of real estate product and over $1B+ in total capitalization. He has led and coordinated design, engineering, legal, finance and construction professionals to execute various development and investment plans across both commercial and residential asset classes. Prior to working in CRE principal investments, Mr. Patel spent time at various large institutions including Lehman Brothers, ING Capital and GE Capital. Mr. Patel was part of structured finance teams working in various finance engagements valued over $5B+. Mr. Patel received his Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park. Mr. Patel is a guest lecturer at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

      President, Rose Associates, Inc.

      Kathleen Rose, CCIM, CRE President Rose Associates (Rose & Associates Southeast, Inc.) Davidson, NC Ms. Rose is President and Chief Executive Officer whose combined decades of experience as a development expert and real estate analyst built a comprehensive consulting practice which serves public, private and institutional clients. The firm uniquely integrates real estate advisory, economic development and land use policy. Ms. Rose has managed the analysis, planning, development and marketing of a variety of retail, industrial, hotel, office and mixed-use projects throughout the eastern United States. She holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute of the National Association of Realtors. After receiving the designation in 1989, she went on to serve on the Institute's Faculty and as Chair on a number of regional and national executive committees. She also holds the designation of Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) of the National Association of Realtors. The CRE credential is awarded only to those individuals who are invited by their peers as established consultants into the membership of The Counselors of Real Estate. She is also a member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), which confers the CeCD Designation (Certified Economic Developer) and is pending certification. She is also a member of the, International City/Council Management Association (ICMA), and other professional organizations. Ms. Rose is a quoted expert and has authored a number of articles for a wide variety of industry trade publications covering topics including retail, development, urban planning, economic development and related subjects. She is also often asked to speak to a wide variety of audiences on these topics. Her work in real estate, community and economic development has resulted in being recognized by Business Today as a top business woman in the Lake Norman region in 2010 and the Charlotte Business Journal as among the top 25 businesswomen in 2011.
